We had such a great time with Jason! He made the whole shelling and fishing trip so much fun, especially for the kids. He was patient, engaging, and kept them excited the entire time—whether it was finding cool shells or reeling in fish. We caught several grouper and even a shark! He knew all the best spots and made sure everyone felt comfortable and included. You can tell he really enjoys what he does and is great with families. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a fun, kid-friendly day on the water!
A group of friends and I came to Marco Island for the day. Found 4th story Charter and saw an opening that we booked with ease. Captain Jason was really quick to respond - told us exactly what to do and where to go. He was friendly, knowledgeable and within 15 minutes maybe we were on a pod of dolphins. I’m so glad we opted for this over an airboat ride. Nothing like being on the water near the end of the day! For nearly 2 solid minutes multiple dolphins playfully jumped and followed us in our boat wake. Even a little baby one! When that was over my friend turned to me and said “that was worth every penny!” It was so cool! We cruised the coats, stopped at a cute little island to shell and found some goodies. It was very relaxing. I saved Capt Jason in my phone and I will certainly be sharing his contact info and 4th Story Charter to friends and for my next adventure. Thank you!!!
We had the absolute best time on our 2-hour family charter this past week! From start to finish, Captain Kevin made the experience fun, relaxed, and perfect for our family. Visiting the area with kids (ages 6 and 9), we were hoping for something engaging and memorable—and it exceeded every expectation. We caught several different species of fish, which kept the kids excited and involved the entire time. Captain Kevin was incredibly patient, knowledgeable, and great at teaching them along the way. He made sure everyone had a chance to participate and celebrate each catch. One of the highlights of the trip was when dolphins started playing in the wake of the boat—such a magical, unforgettable moment for all of us! The boat was comfortable, well-maintained, and perfectly suited for a family outing. Everything felt safe, easy, and enjoyable. If you’re looking for a family-friendly fishing experience that’s equal parts adventure and fun, we can’t recommend Captain Kevin and 4th Story Charters enough. We’ll definitely be back!
We booked the combo fishing and eco tour. The highlight was the fishing! Capt. Jason made sure we all caught something. The small fish we caught got used for bait to reel in the bigger groupers. The family loved it!
