I used ABC Pool Cage Painting to renovate my 20+ year old enclosure. I obtained 3 quotes from 3 different companies before contracting with ABC, my decision was based on cost, services, and online research of each company. Three (3) technicians arrived to do the job, Dan, Yude and Miguel. Each one of them was professional and provided great care in renovating my pool enclosure. ABC was extremely accommodating with providing the estimate, confirming the pricing (after requesting additional services), updating the contract per my request for detail of each service (inclusive of the add-on items - removing the 2x1 strips, adding a dog door, increasing to the 20/20 screen), and completing the job. The technicians were generous in accommodating a last-minute request. I provided feedback to ABC regarding a few items that the Sales Team should note when working with homeowners that are doing a complete renovation of the pool, pool deck and enclosure. No single item was a deal breaker to lead to a less than 5-star review. I am very pleased with the final product! Before and after pictures enclosed. Enclosure was originally white and now is bronze.
We are impressed with the quality of workmanship involved with having our pool cage refurbished. The daunting task of screen removal, power washing, sanding and painting seemed effortless to the crew members. We also had 2 rusted channels replaced, two new screen doors installed along with new fasteners and cables throughout. The pet screen on the lower panels enable our fur babies to now enjoy their outdoor time with us.
ABC Pool did a fantastic job! From the beginning there was constant communication. They called a few days ahead of schedule to see about starting earlier than planned. They completed the cage in 2 days, working fast, efficient, and cleaning as they worked. We recommend them to our neighbor and they are doing their cage next month! Thanks for the great work! It looks amazing now!
If you are looking for a headache look no further. Horrible work and they don't adhere to what they tell you. First off never showed up on scheduled start date,I received a phone call from them saying they were backed up from a rainy day OK no problem understandable said they will be here first thing next morning,that never happened. 12 pm rolled around and no one here I called and was told be here by 1:30 well 1:30 really meant 3:30. They worked for and hour and left next day never showed up til 2pm. the contract says ALL BOLTS REPLACED nope some were not all loose paint removed with wire wheels and palm sanders,I never saw any of those tools used,but there was plenty of loose paint and rust that should have been removed protect deck and surrounding area from paint over spray they did but managed to get paint all over our freshly painted exterior of home they covered the pool but still managed to get lots of debris in the pool and never cleaned it as it states in the contract. No work trucks showed up with business signs they all arrive in cars,no one speaks English all the workers communicate with homeowner using an app lots of masking tape never removed from exterior of house and gutters that are part of the cage were removed and never painted,I painted them myself. Lots of garbage left around outside of cage in shrubs and we are still picking up screws around the lanai. When you call them you talk to someone and all you hear is phones ringing in the background as if you were talking to Dell computers over seas,when they call you back the calls come from all over the state of Florida Miami mostly. My screens are already separating from the cage after 2 weeks since install. Do yourself a favor and spend the extra money. I know they will say that they discounted my project,I demanded that due to the fact that I now had to lay out money to have the house painter return to scrape and sand and repaint the areas that they got paint on and also had to pay my pool company for the extra cleaning. Check out their reviews especially on Florida BBB they are pretty much the same. In pics you can see masking tape left on cage bolts replaced but the rust and loose paint never taken care of.Paint on exterior of house. Who knows next week they might be in the roofing buisness or plumbers.
It was overall a very satisfying experience. They came as scheduled. They completed the project in the time they said they would, the quality of the work is outstanding. The workers were polite, very hard-working, kept the workplace orderly and neat. We have had some significant projects completed in our home over the past several years, and the overall experiences have been very negative. It was great to finally have a very positive experience. Highly recommended.
