We hired a large local GC to do major renovations to our 2 bathrooms and remove and replace the tile flooring in our entire home. The GC chose Bolcor as their Sub Contractor to do the work. We met with George and Tom from Bolcor and finalized the details. During installation the tiles were not laying correctly and corners were not level. Also many tiles were not properly installed because the installers did not use enough mud because when you tapped on them they were hollow. After complaining to both our GC and Bolcor we learned that Bolcor had sub contracted the work out. Bolcor had issues with getting their sub contractor to properly repair over 50 tiles (20" x 20" ceramic tiles) and had to be fired from our project. Because of the additional time, materials and labor and to clean up dust through out our entire home and attached garage, additional thousand of dollars in costs were incurred. When hiring this company i would make sure that you make sure that Bolcor employees are doing the work and not contracted out by Bolcor because they have too much work to do and need to hire subs. If we would have been told, we would never had agreed to this. We were led to believe that Bolcor was the Sub Contractor of our GC and it was Bolcor that we vetted and approved, not their sub contractors that they called upon to do the work in our home.
Bolcor came and removed my tiles. They did a great job with clean up I also bought my new flooring from Bolcor. The prices was amazing I have recommended Bolcor to my family and friends.
John and his team were excellent to wok with. I had many questions that John patiently answered. The work was professionally completed on time and to our satisfaction. I would and have already recommended Bolcor Flooring to my friends. Paul Buttigieg and Francesca Venosa.
Bolcor has been a great company to work with, has a great team, they have awesome customer service, would recommend it for any flooring needs.
I can not reccomend bolcor enough. My floors are gorgeous and they were willing to work with my schedule.. All the other companies in the area can not compete with them.
