Came here for dinner and it was pretty decent, the servers were really nice, the mocktails and cocktails were good. The beef bourguignon was so tender and almost buttery, steak was cooked to perfection, the tartare was fresh. The only thing that was mid was the bread, which was surprising considering this is a French restaurant. But overall a good dinner :)
Amazing!! Everything we had was incredible, and the service was also excellent. The waiter and the food runner were both very attentive and kind. We got amazing recommendations from them as well. The beef Wellington was cooked to perfection, the steak tartar was delicious, and everything else we tried was also great! We will definitely be coming back.
We first discovered Chez Loma through Instagram and knew we had to try it. We went last Friday and loved it so much that we came back again this week—it’s that good! They have a fantastic happy hour from 4–6 PM in the bar area. I’m pregnant, and the bartender made me the most delicious mocktails, while my husband really enjoyed the Hugo Spritz. Be sure to ask for the house bread—it’s amazing! You also can’t leave without trying the French onion soup or the grilled Caesar salad. For happy hour, the chicken Milanesa with Caesar salad is the perfect combo. My husband ordered the Beef Wellington, which was incredible—honestly better than the one at Born and Raised. The steak frites are also amazing! Everything we’ve tried here has been outstanding. For dessert, we shared the bread pudding, and it was the perfect sweet ending to our meal. Chez Loma has quickly become one of our favorite restaurants. Highly recommend!
From the moment we sat down outside, we were treated to an unforgettable dining experience. The restaurant's inviting atmosphere, combined with the attentive and friendly staff, made us feel right at home. The food was simply outstanding! Every dish we ordered exceeded our expectations. The flavors were exquisite. Whether it was the perfectly seared octopus or the mouthwatering duck cooked to perfection, each bite was a culinary delight. It's clear that the team here is committed to providing an outstanding dining experience, from the delicious food to the impeccable service. It was so impressive that we returned the next day for brunch, and we can't wait to visit again!
Went to Chez Loma for Valentine's and will not be going back for the following reasons: 1. We were seated 45 mins after our reservation. There were other couples that had reservations after us that got seated first and that appeared to be based on them complaining to the hostess. 2. Once they came around to take our order we were informed they were out of french onoin soup and filet mignon. How does a French restaurant run out of french onion soup? Also, they substituted the filet with an inferior cut of meat, picancha, which I did order and was tough and no where near a filet. The cost was still the same for the inferior cut of meat. We should have been told of the menu change prior to being seated. 3. We had to request bread and the butter provided was hard and difficult to cut and spread due to the oil on the plate. The second basket did come with soft butter but it should be consistent. 4. The general atmosphere was rushed which did not lend itself to a Valentine's type atmosphere. 5. The bathroom was filthy with paper towels overflowing out of the trash can onto the floor. It did not look like it had been cleaned during the busy night.
