Great spot for brunch. Food was delicious. Service was good. Took a while for our waters and to order but after that it was fine. Everyone who came by the table was extremely friendly. Beautiful view from the restaurant. Loud fun atmosphere.

The ambiance was with a beautiful view of downtown and beautiful skies. The service was great Michelle was our server. The food my son loved the pancakes the eggs with bacon not so great. He shared that the bacon was part soft bordering raw. My wife’s chilaquiles were cold and had a red can sauce taste She orderes the red chile. I sampled it myself and agreed low quality Mexican food. My food was good . Side note the window view unfortunately included dogs pooping in front of window view. Overall enjoyed it but the restaurant needs better cooks.

I was invited by a friend, and I’m so glad I went! The food, service, and location were all excellent — much better than I expected. The restaurant is owned by someone from Sinaloa, Mexico, and the food feels very authentic and traditional. They’re open from 8am to around 2–3pm. Expect a line, or make a reservation ahead of time to avoid waiting close to an hour. Also, your whole party must be together before being seated. Highly recommended! Ohh forgot 2 hours free parking. 💫🤩👌

As the author of The Grant Colson Thriller Series and Maui Desire Romance Series novels, I always notice restaurants with strong atmosphere, and Cocina 35 at the Coronado Ferry Landing is a fantastic brunch spot. The setting is the first thing that hits you. It sits right on the water with a clear view across the bay toward the San Diego skyline, and it’s the kind of backdrop that makes you slow down and stay a little longer. My brother took me here for my birthday, and going during the Christmas season made it even better. The whole area had a festive feel without being over the top. The menu stands out. It’s a creative take on Mexican-style brunch, and everything felt well thought out and full of flavor. It’s not your standard breakfast lineup, which makes it more interesting. Service was friendly and attentive, and the place runs smoothly even with the traffic coming through. Between the location, the food, and the overall feel, it’s an easy place to come back to when you want a strong brunch with a view.

Excellent place to grab your brunch or lunch. Vibrant atmosphere with amazing good food options. Service is excellent. And eat the flan. It’s the best you can get anywhere. The server behind the bar told me that one of their staff makes them in house. It was indeed the best flan.
