Green Mountain did a major renovation on the exterior of my home. The original exterior was Tuscan and 30 years old. The renovated house looks like a brand new house that was just built. After the job was completed Green Mountain was quick to follow up on a few items that needed addressed and they were very responsive. They use excellent subcontractors who all do very good work and stand behind their work. The house looks so good from the street, that people stop by and comment on it frequently. I would highly recommend them for any type of remodeling.

I recently purchased a property in Naples, Florida, and since I'm not from the area, I didn't know any local builders. My real estate agent recommended GreenMountain because they were using the company for their own remodeling project. I figured that if a realtor who regularly works with builders and remodelers trusted GreenMountain for their own home, it was a safe choice—and it turned out to be the right decision. I have general contracted my own projects in the past, I understand how important it is to choose the right company and the right subcontractors. This was a significant project that included constructing a 2,000 square-foot guest house along with a major addition to the existing home, so selecting the right team was critical. From the very beginning, everyone I worked with at GreenMountain was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with. Their attention to detail, planning, and communication gave me confidence throughout the process. Like most large construction projects, the job took a little longer than originally anticipated, but that's not uncommon with projects of this size and complexity. As with any construction project, there were change orders and unforeseen conditions that arose, particularly after inspections, including issues related to elevation, grading, and other site-specific challenges. My advice to anyone undertaking a remodel or addition is to take the time to review every detail of the construction contract and make sure everything is clearly spelled out. For example, if you're unfamiliar with construction terminology, abbreviations such as "HC doors" (which means hollow-core doors) can easily be misunderstood. I'd recommend that GreenMountain consider using more descriptive language in their contracts to avoid any confusion for homeowners who aren't familiar with industry terminology. Likewise, it's important for both the homeowner and contractor to clearly document the scope of any change orders. During the course of my project, GreenMountain went through several personnel changes, including a change in ownership. I can honestly say that the new ownership has done an excellent job of continuing the company's strong reputation in the Naples community and ensuring my project was completed successfully. I have already recommended GreenMountain to several of my neighbors and would not hesitate to do so again. Thank you to the entire GreenMountain team for bringing my family's vision to life and delivering on everything you committed to. We are very happy with the finished product.

Green Mountain Builders is one of my favorite local companies in SWFL to send clients to for their interior and exterior goals. Not only does Wes and GMB focus on the birdseye concept of the space, but they make sure to work with individual needs and expectations. I'm really impressed when a new outdoor project comes through. What I want to commend is how thorough their team is in explaining their vision... 10/10! You're in good hands with them.

My husband and I have remodeled houses in NJ and PA--with excellent contractors--but our experience remodeling our home here in FL with Green Mountain Builders was the best by far! Tony and his team (including Mickey and Elizabeth of Ecru & Ebony Design) were always well-prepared, organized, and very professional! They suggested highly creative--yet reasonably priced--ideas for layouts, interior design, lighting, etc., and walked us through the many decisions we needed to make. I was always impressed! My husband and I were kept up-to-date on the project's progress, and people explained things clearly to us. They got back to us promptly if we had a question or concern. Tony (and Mickey) were mindful of our budget, kept excellent track of spending, and presented us with choices to help us stay on track. Thanks to Green Mountain Builders, our FL home is more than we could have imagined!

Completely redesigned an eight year old dark and difficult kitchen into these modern, bright and connected spaces. The exterior windows demo and replacement with mitered fixed glass is such a view improvement both ways. After this they are quoting a similar upgrade on the other side of the lanai. Bathroom was also a dreary 2017 look from the original builder. Now it’s an enjoyment to use! They vet their contractors well and actively manage them . Most of the mess and reconstruction was done before we returned. I didn’t mind being here for the end stages to make sure we got the best result! Yes David and Bill and your in house finish crew you did a great job. Seeing how it all came together we wouldn’t change a thing!
