Gordie (and Ripp) were great hosts! We had a full day charter fishing for Grouper and Snapper. He did share some insight and educated us on how to operate the reels and bait the hooks, which for me was awesome because it truly gives us a full experience. At sunrise Gordie set us up with tons of baitfish while we enjoyed an incredible sunrise, then we flew in his boat about 50 miles out and caught the daily limit of grouper and snapper. We filled our take home bags full of the fresh fillets he carved up immediately after docking. 10/10 recommend…he even set me up on some Goliath Grouper which felt like unsuccessfully pulling a car up from the bottom of the ocean! But “Mary Poppins” will be back to get one!

Best fishing Carter in Florida!!! Gordie is an excellent host, and fishing captain!!! This is our second time out on the ocean with lucky strike fishing and we will definitely be back for red snapper season!!! Can’t wait to see our boy ripp again, and catch more fish!!! Don’t forget to book your trip and get to see a lovely sunset on ur way home!!

We had a great time! As a woman who kind of knew how to fish, I really appreciated how patient and attentive the captain was. He made the whole experience comfortable, fun, and easy to enjoy. Gordie was amazing! Caught a ton of fish. Overall, a great experience — highly recommend.

It's to say so many good things about Capt. Gordie without sounding like a certified "Fan Boy", but here it goes. I booked our trip for the beginning of Red Snapper season almost 4 months in advance to make sure I secured our spot. Spent those 4 months watching his YouTube videos getting more stoked after watching each one. The day before our charter, Gordon called to go over the last little details. When we met Gordon at the launch, we were first greeted by his 1st mate "Rip". What an amazing dog. He seems to know who is going to get hooked up before you even get the bite. Capt Gordon told us exactly where to put our stuff and answered any questions we had. He has the perfect temperament/demeaner to make even the most wary/shy person feel comfortable. Just the right amount of positivity, humor, etc. We went on the 10 hr trip and the first bait down at the first spot landed us a 20+ lb Red Grouper and a bunch of smaller ones. We lost some real hefties as well. 2nd spot first bait down landed an even larger Red Grouper as well as some smaller ones. We were ready to go after some Red Snapper. We caught our 4 person limit of big Red Snapper in about 15 min. He didn't even have to stop recording because at least 2 of us were hooked up the entire time. We caught some more for fun and then Gordon laid out our options for the rest of the day and we opted for yellowtail. The yellowtail fishing was fast and furious because there were at least 10 sharks and the biggest barracuda's I've ever seen. Yellowtails were literally flying out of the water and in to the boat because we were winding them up so fast. Absolutely amazing finish to the day. We had an absolute blast that exceeded all expectations. I feel pretty confident saying that Capt. Gordon wants his clients to catch exactly what they want to catch and not just get paid for taking people out. He's giving you an experience that you'll never forget. Don't believe me, go watch all of his videos and you won't see one unhappy person in any of them. Just like the rest of his clients, I will be booking another one with Gordon as soon as possible. To Capt. Gordon...THANK YOU again for this day. It was exactly what I needed and way more than I expected!!

This was a truly enjoyable experience. Gordie and his pupper Rip were amazing. Gordie was super chill and informative. He put us right on the fish every single time that it almost made me feel as if he stocked the ocean before we came. I would definitely charter again and recommend this guy to anyone!
