Update reply: After seeing how much care, concern and understanding this place lost, I'll be going anywhere else. Thanks but no thanks This place was full of caring people and offered help to us cancer patients. Then they invested a ton of money to make it prettier. Now there's no help for cancer patients and the people i spoke to there seemed really cold and uncaring. I miss who they used to be. I'll probably go elsewhere now. I don't even wanna go back. Such a sad loss to the community. I'll be donating to another cancer organization from now on. I felt more hopeless after visiting the new center.
Our first visit .. most helpful staff.. They offer many opportunities for cancer patients.. We received financial assistance with medication expense which was not covered by our insurance.. Staff is most caring and supportive. .
The ladies here are amazing. So helpful and happy to help too. And just made me feel like I wasn't alone. They offer free things as you are going through the changes of chemo too and that was very helpful and a blessing
The nicest most compassionate people you will ever come across. Ashley is so so sweet. The learn your name and who you are and treat you as friend. The always have something to offer and the patient that i take there always leaves with a very big smile on her face after stopping by. God bless you!!
8 yrs ago I got triple advanced stage 3 breast cancer and lost both. I was going through a terrible divorce and since I am Irish - I have no family here, I do not know what I would do without them. Jan 2nd 2024 I have Stage 4 Colon Cancer that has spread to my liver. On Dec 18th I have a very serious operation and my world as I knew it has been turned upside down. I can't work, now the stigma of disability. Then Lucy my dog died of cancer - this was gut wrenching as we were in it together. If you could please do the following do one random act of kindness a day, do physical exercise and find religion - you will get through life. Thank you to each and every member of American Cancer Society - I do not know what I would do without you.
