This place has an incredible selection of bird toys, perches, and accessories. I could get lost in here! Staff is very friendly and helpful. I'm not thrilled about birds and fish being sold in pet stores, since so little vetting goes into finding the animals good homes. I will say that every time I've stopped in, the budgies and cockatiels look healthy and spirited. I unfortunately don't know enough about fish care to speak to their aquariums, but nothing looks gross (except the requisite bettas in tiny cups). I wish they had more toys or enrichment for their birds in the store, but compared to the conditions I've seen in other pet stores, they do a good job keeping things clean and healthy.

My daughter and I visited Perky Pets for the first time today and we will forever be returning customers! The staff was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable, but I really appreciated that they allowed us to browse the store for over an hour without pressuring us like the big box pet stores do. They specialize in fish and birds, but they have a variety of stock for other pets like dogs, cats, bunnies etc etc. I found their prices to be very competitive and honestly far more affordable than anywhere else. You arrive and right away you feel very welcome…the door is wide open when you walk in and there is no AC, but the animals are happy and very well cared for. I would always choose to shop a small business before anything else, but Perky Pets has earned us as customers for life!

Everyone that works there is extremely intelligent with/about any animals but I myself started a 10 gallon fish tank and not a week later the tank started leaking so I upgraded to 20 gallon and got some real beautiful healthy fish from them. They helped me set up my tank with none aggressive fish and it came out beautifully. Thank you guys again!

Very disappointed with this pet store. I called ahead and spoke with them about buying a cage, and they knew I was on my way to pick it up. When I arrived, they had already sold it to someone else without even letting me know. A quick call would have saved me the trip. On top of that, the overall quality of the store was poor. Definitely not a good experience

I go there all the time to buy food for my parrot I don't have nothing bad to say about the employee there, am very pleased and happy with the service that I get from there I will definitely gave them a five-star
