Honestly don't expect to receive a response from Pizza Connection as it seems they only respond to positive reviews. If I could give zero stars, I would for the food and service. The atmosphere was ok as there was only 1 couple there eating what was left of their pizza meal when we walked in and no one else came in to dine the entire time we were there with the exception of a few pickup orders. We sat down and a young man came and took our drink orders. When he came back after standing at the counter for a length of time conversing with the other young female worker, I questioned if they were able to make the shrimp Alice since the chicken Alice was on the menu and they had other shrimp dishes. He looked at his computer pad he used to input orders and said yes then my husband gave his order. He then told me he had to check about the shrimp Alice after telling me they could do it. They used to make it as well when Jeff ran the restaurant and it was my favorite. The gentleman came back and said they couldn't make it and the shrimp scampi was basically the same. It is not! So then, I settled and ordered a calzone with steak, green peppers and onions. I instead received a stromboli with steak, green peppers and onions. The menu stated nothing about paying $1.50 each for the peppers and onions as shown on their menu for the stromboli. The stromboli was very dry, very minimal onions, peppers or steak as shown in photos that don't lie and overcooked. We were never once checked on and we had to get the waiters attention for drink refills as he again was too busy conversing with the female. I asked for a box and instead received my bill. I patiently waited for the box to come out, but instead, the waiter came back for my money and I pointed out the extra charge along with what the menu stated. I explained that I got three items in the stromboli (not calzone as originally ordered) therefore I should not be paying the extra $3. While it may not seem like a lot, it is more the principal of things. The waiter basically told me that's how it was and wouldn't talk with anyone else and just stood there as if he were waiting for my money and wasn't going to do or speak to anyone to clarify this error and misunderstanding. Finally, I told him that I would pay the extra money but won't be back and I needed my box which I still had not received. No response from the man, not even the word sorry so we paid and left. This is an awful way to treat customers, especially when your Restaurant had not one other diner come in the entire time we were there to sit down. With so many businesses struggling right now, obviously this place doesn't need people's business and there are many pizzeria establishments around that would love our business since we eat out almost on a daily basis. It's a shame because it was great when Jeff ran the place and he came out to check on customers and say hello, even if he were busy. If you go, please question things before ordering and check your bill. We won't be back unless things were to drastically change as there are so many more establishments that would love our business. I have my doubts though.

Chat GPT directed me here after describing over a decade long, fruitless search for pizza comparable to what we were used to from South Jersey. A NYC/Philly style. CGPT came through again. The place was amazing. My Grandma got a batch of fried mushrooms. It was great. We got a n XL white pie w/ broccoli. Comes cut into 12 slices. It was the best white pizza w/ broccoli any of us had in Florida. Our server was pretty amazing when you consider she was working the phone, register/counter/pickups and all the tables in the dining room. Nuts.

I have been a regular customer since they opened for business with the first owners. Once the new owner took over, he put up two pieces of wall, closing the kitchen. It changed the whole vibe/dynamics of the open friendly atmosphere. I hope he removes it. The white lower service area needs washed or painted and the cleaning bottles & wash towel out of view. The menu has slightly been changed. My favorite has always been the Stromboli. The menu says it has Two Meats, Cheese, Onion, Peppers, Sauce. Nothing Else ! The pepperoni & ham meat was skimpy compared to prior but it had a ton of yummy cheese. This is a $16.00 Stromboli. Anyhow, I asked for no onions or peppers. When it was sat in front of me, it had Black Olives & Mushrooms 🤪 It did not say it came olives or mushrooms or I would have opted out of that as well . No veggies for me ! ** The owner did make it right and I was very grateful. Thank you ! The new owner needs to work on confirming his menu so customers know what they are getting . Will I go back? Yes, I will next season as I’m sure he will be settled in and worked out all kinks. I’m rooting for the new owner to have a successful business. 🍕. Once I go back, I will update my review . I’m sure it will be better. 👍 The picture is of the first Stromboli with the mushrooms & olives and the other is just meat & cheese . Unfortunately very little meat on both. Lots of toppings on the first one, lots of cheese on the second one .

I recently moved to the area, and wanted to find ‘my pizza place’. To me, the best way to judge is a basic cheese pizza. These guys did not disappoint. Hand stretched dough, not too thin or thick, baked crispy and soft. Just the right amount of cheese and sauce. I was thrilled! We ordered a dozen garlic knots and a couple cannolis. The cannolis were good. The ricotta filling didn’t penetrate the entire cannoli, but it was crispy, creamy and just the right sweetness. The garlic ‘knots’? This is where the wheels came off. First off, they were dry and cold pan rolls which they partially separated and placed in a take out container then drizzled a minuscule portion of Italian herb, garlic, Parmesan ‘sauce’. I noticed the container was cold when I picked it up, so that alarmed me. When we got home 5 minutes later, we dove in. The rolls were dry, cold, and lacking much flavor. We only ate a few. It was clear there were made ahead of time and it showed. It’s sad because we eat out once a week and it’s a treat we were really looking forward to. The menu here is insanely huge. I feel like this place has an identity crisis between portraying itself as a pizza place but wanting to be a full service Italian restaurant. For their size, I feel they should cut out 60-70% of their menu items and focus on what they do well. I’d get pizza here again, but I’d skip the rest.

So happy with our experience here! Reviews were mixed but the way the owner handled the negative reviews is wonderful, so nice and professional that we decided to give it a shot. Can say without a doubt this is our new spot, pizza was GREAT, price was more than fair, and the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Just moved to North Fort Myers and was dying to find a good local pizza place, tried some around but didn’t hit the spot but this place exceeded expectations! Pizza was gone so fast only got a picture of the last slice lol, must try.
