The wife and I booked a 3 hour tour for our honeymoon and it was fantastic. Chris and his ship mate Cooper did an excellent job. They were very thorough and made sure we had multiple chances to see dolphins, different fish, and even birds (they pointed out a giant bald eagle nest!) The shelling was also great! As a side note, my wife has a medical condition that sometimes makes her exhausted/sick from the heat and physical activity, and Chris did a wonderful job making sure she was well and comfortable. 10/10 would recommend!
Did the Eco Tour/Dolphin cruise with Captain Chris and First Mate Braxton on Wednesday for my friends birthday who was down visiting. We had a great time and I enjoyed Keewaydin and shelling. Beautiful homes along the way and saw osprey, pelicans, bald eagles and a dolphin hunting that swam around our boat. The crew was great. Chris was very informative along the way and Braxton was very attentive. Would definitely go back and look forward to another Keewaydin trip.
Boat ride out in the ocean to view the coastline of mansions, dolphins and beautiful beaches and blue green waters was awesome. Also took a smaller pontoon style boat to an island for Shelling and saw closer look at the dolphins. 3 hours. Well worth the money. 1 1/2 hour was about 70 and 3 hr was approximately 79. The captains and crew were fun and loved their jobs. Great way to explore with out buying a million dollar boat!!! Highly recommend getting out on the water. Great narrated tour.
We did the 1 PM dolphin shelling tour with three adults and three kids. Bobby and Kenny were great hosts, provided interesting commentary. We enjoyed the massive yachts and mansion tours, got to see dolphins, osprey and some eagles and enjoyed the beautiful soft sand and shelling. The three hour time is perfect (wouldn’t want it longer with kids). They provide water but easier to bring your own water bottle. Make sure to bring snacks for you/kids and towels.
Went out on the 10 hr charter with captain Patrick and captain Josh working as a 1st mate. Those 2 made a great team. We were put on amazing spots and had a great time. I caught my biggest grouper and my first porgy. Even though most of my catches weren't in season or worth eating, it was still fun to catch the other species and learn about them. The thrill of the fight was amazing. The boat was very spacious and also very comfortable. I really enjoyed that there was only 18 people on board as it gave me some space to work with and not spend most of my time tangled up. Will definently be looking to get back on board next year when I come back to Florida. Also the prices were reasonable for the time going out.
