Stopped here for a local beer and to get the kids the soft pretzel before we went to dinner. Atmosphere was fun and the beer and pretzel were amazing. They also had live music that started a little later so we came back after dinner for a few more drinks and to listen to the band. No kids after 8 which is probably a smart decision. We had such a good time and met some amazing people. Felt rough the next day but it was worth it for the memories.
First off, full disclosure, I love Marvin and Leanda King. They are not only great musicians but excellent people ❤️ The good music aside, the food was really really good. I had the Angus burger with bacon and my wife had the teriyaki wings. The tater tots, cooked to perfection, were to die for, seriously! The service from beginning to end was top notch. I've eaten in three star restaurants that didn't have better or more attentive personnel. The overall atmosphere was perfect; not too noisy and yet you had a good place to party.👍👍❤️❤️✨✨✨✨
As an Englishman, alone in South Carolina for the first time I had no idea where to go or what to do. On top of that it was my birthday and I was far from home. My wife was worried that I’d spend my birthday miserable and away from friends and family. I was able to reassure her I was amongst friends - albeit new friends that I found at Smileys. Fantastic place - great music and great people. The beer was also way better than I expected. If I’m lucky enough to be back in Greenville on business again, I’ll be back here for sure!
Very intimate venue. It's a bit small so arrive early to get a nice seat. Especially if you have two or more in your party. Had to update my review since Smileys has since changed location. They've teamed up with On The Rocks, and it's a nice combo! More room, nicely decorated and easy to get too!
