I wish we knew about this sooner, this for sure will be a regular stop when we are in town. The food is delicious with huge portions, matching the pricing. All who were working were kind and it gave a nostalgic diner feel but had updated flooring and bathrooms.

This place is now a must stop every time we’re in Anaheim. We’ve been twice and food is delicious, servers are friendly and prices are fair. The best biscuits and gravy, pancakes, and chicken fried steak I’ve ever had. Whipped butter is also amazing. Everything we’ve tried we’ve loved. Definitely recommend!

Charming atmosphere, but bring your wallet The Original Pancake House definitely has that nostalgic, old-school charm that makes for a fun morning out. It’s clearly a local favorite because it was packed and buzzing with energy when I visited. The Logistics: Be aware that parking can be a little tight if you arrive during peak hours, and because the restaurant isn't very large, you should expect a bit of a wait for a table. However, I was impressed by how efficiently they run things—the line actually moves rather quickly. The Food & Value: While the experience is great, the prices feel a bit steep for breakfast. Paying nearly $20 for an egg omelet and almost $17 for the famous 49er Flapjacks is hard to justify, even with the classic atmosphere and solid service. For me, the quality of the food and the price point don't quite match up. It’s a wonderful spot for a nostalgic treat or a special morning out, but just be prepared for a bill that feels a bit high for the standard fare.

Very good pancakes and waffles, ton of selections. A little bit pricey. Parking is easy if you arrive early. Nice people and cozy environment.

I’m so glad we picked this spot for breakfast. Small unassuming location but great service and food. Everything was good (except the crepes which were just filled with jelly). Standouts were the chorizo omelette and has browns. But the absolute best thing ever was the apple pancake. So flipping good and huge. We took an entire filled container to go of it was so big and so good. Oh and refills on hot chocolate which was creamy and chocolatey were also appreciated.
