This was our first visit to the Warehouse, where we caught ASSASSINS. This intimate theater affords good seats for all attendees. For this show, a thrust stage was used. I'm not sure if that is the case for all shows, but I've always appreciated this kind of staging as it creates a more intimate feeling with the actors. The lobby is nicely appointed, and their refreshment stand is conveniently located to allow folks to grab a snack or beverage easily. Even though it is a small theater, we never felt cramped. The actors were all very good, professional players. Nice to have an Equity theater of this size in Greenville. Their season appears to have more than a few daring, controversial shows in their past and upcoming seasons. Parking is typical for downtown/westside. Some walking may be in order, so plan accordingly. Entire staff was friendly and helpful. This is a theater worth attending and supporting. Terry Tyson (Insight Services)
Real intimate theater, in a great location and is walking distance from EVERYTHING.
We drove a few hours to see “In the Heights” and knew it was a small intimate theatre. I was highly impressed with the talent and passion of the actors. There are few seats so every seat had a fantastic view. I took off a star because the tickets were difficult to purchase/navigate systems.
Edit: Finally got in touch with them—and they handled everything wonderfully. Looking forward to several shows this season! Called on four separate days to purchase tickets. Still haven’t gotten ahold of anyone. Great shows, lousy customer service.
Nice small venue. Performance was a little vulgar for my wife and I but we are willing to come back.
