I love this bar! Such a great neighborhood hang with fun activities every week night. Monday karaoke, Tuesday comedy, Wednesday trivia, Thursday live music, and great vibes all weekend! All the events are free and happy hour prices are 5-10pm which is awesome. Highly recommend to folks in the area or visiting Hollywood!

Be aware of how guests are treated at the door. During my visit, a security guard raised his voice and called me “stupid” while denying entry over an ID issue. I arrived with friends but didn’t have my physical ID with me at the time, so the bouncer denied me entry. I completely understood and respected that rule. I briefly stepped a few steps into the entrance area to let my friends know I wouldn’t be able to join them. The bar was very quiet at the time with only a couple of people inside. During that interaction, the security guard raised his voice at me and called me “stupid.” When I asked to speak with a manager, he responded dismissively that I was “not a customer.” To be clear, I have no issue with the venue enforcing its ID policy. Denying entry without a physical ID is reasonable. What concerned me was how the situation was handled. Being spoken to in an insulting and hostile way felt unnecessary, especially since I had already accepted the rule and was leaving with my friends. First impressions matter, and the interaction at the door sets the tone for the entire experience. I hope management reviews how situations like this are handled.
It is the most beautiful dispensary in the world. Private Beautiful booths that you can rent overlooking a Koi pond with a bar that serves coffee and small snacks very nice bathrooms excellent staff
The Old Lava Lounge is where The Woods is located. It’s a very comfy neighborhood bar with a minimalist updated 70’s Vibe. Lots of comfortable Booth seating and a conversation pit kind of area in the back by the large movie screen. There are games scattered around that you can play with your friends. Excellent Bartenders, nice drinks, fun place that’s Low Key. Good music selection kind of Adult Contemporary. We went for Trivia night which was a fun time. They don’t have food but you can bring some in, we ordered From Door Dash. It was a week night so there was a good amount of free parking in the lot. There’s also a parking lot security guard and an excellent Door man. A great experience all around.
