Went to the Veranda for brunch while in San Diego and had a great time along with wonderful food. The service was amazing, and the endless cold brew is something I’ll never complain about. There are great views, this is a good spot for a relaxing brunch with family or friends. One of my favorite breakfast dishes is Chilaquiles, which were phenomenal here. The meat was tender and had a lot of flavor. I tried my fiancés eggs Benedict and thought it was great as well. Look forward to trying lunch here in the future.
We attended my godsons wedding at Rancho Bernardo and the Champions league final and wanted to watch it with some wedding guests. The bar didn’t open till 10:30 and we asked Brianna if we could watch the game she was super busy and we waited and wondered in the bar one of the other employees basically told us no way get out. Not wanting to cause any issues we went up to our room to watch. We went to lobby to get door sages and Brianna can looking for us and wondered what happened to us. She was so nice and accommodating i just want to thank here. She is an asset to the property!!
We had a wonderful dinner at Veranda and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. The scallops were perfectly prepared, and the pork chop was flavorful, tender, and cooked to perfection. The wine selection was impressive, with plenty of great options to complement the meal. The live music created a relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere that made the evening even more special. A big thank you to Sal, our waiter, who took exceptional care of us throughout the night. His attentive service, recommendations, and friendly personality truly elevated our dining experience. Great food, excellent wine, outstanding service, and live entertainment—Veranda delivered on all fronts. We look forward to coming back soon!
Overall a good restaurant. Lamb racks and striped white bass grilled dishes are good. Many good starter options for vegetarians. But no options in main entree for vegetarian. Good location and ambience.
Food and service was great! The entire staff was attentive. I ordered lollipop lamb, picky husband had shortribs and our son had chicken. We also had a salad that I'm glad we ordered. Joseph was very good. We will definitely return for another wonderful dining experience. I'd youn go for dinner it's a good idea to take along a sweater or jacket because it is mainly outdoor seating and can be a little breezy and cool. Bon apatite.
